Florida Promise
Five things we promise the homeowner who hires us.
Most contractor promises don’t survive the first jobsite. We wrote ours to be checkable.
You should be able to hold a contractor to specifics. Vague promises (“we deliver quality work” — does anyone deliver poor work on purpose?) don’t help you. Here’s what we promise, and how to hold us to it.
Hire us for the standards above
Free roof inspection. No pressure. We tell you when rejuvenation isn’t the right call.
1. We tell you when rejuvenation is not the right answer.
If your shingles are too far gone, your roof is leaking, or your slope is the wrong material, we tell you. We tell you what we think you should do instead. We don’t sell you a job that won’t deliver. How to hold us to it: ask any past customer. Read the inspection report we provided you — it’ll either recommend rejuvenation or tell you it’s not a fit.
2. We give you a fixed price, in writing, in 24 hours.
You get a number. The number includes everything. There are no surprise add-ons on application day. How to hold us to it: the quote and the invoice match. If they don’t, we explain in writing — and we eat the difference if it’s our error.
3. We respect your landscaping, your driveway, and your time.
We mask everything within the dripline. We protect your driveway. We arrive when we said we’d arrive, give or take normal Florida-traffic uncertainty. How to hold us to it: walk the property with the crew lead before they leave. Anything not the way you found it gets fixed.
4. We register your warranty, in your name, within 48 hours.
You receive a PDF certificate, a photo archive, and a maintenance record. All in your inbox within two business days of application. How to hold us to it: if 48 hours pass and you haven’t seen the email, call us. We’ll resend it and figure out what went wrong.
5. We pick up the phone.
For the full 8-year warranty period and beyond, we are available by phone, email, and form submission. Same number. Same team. How to hold us to it: hello@shinglerxflorida.com. Try us.
Why we wrote this down
The Florida home-services industry has earned a lot of skepticism. Some of it is fair. Some of it is the price of operating in a state that attracts both a lot of work and a lot of operators chasing post-storm money. We figured the easiest way to be different was to be specific in writing about what we promise.
If we ever fail one of these five, you have a documented commitment to hold up. That’s how this should work.
